When it comes to beer cans, everything has to be perfect. It’s critical that cans are able to leave the production line and be enjoyed by consumers as intended. Thankfully, at Industrial Physics, we have a number of instruments in place to perform numerous tests on beverage cans. Take a look at just a few of our instruments.
The Empty Can Inspection system is able to detect defects quickly and accurately on the flange, bottom and the inner sidewalls of the can. The instrument also identifies pollution and spots on the inside, as well as flange dents, flange width and ovality/roundness are being inspected – offering you a wealth of protection.
• Use pre-sets for a short start up time • High resolution available
Our instrument inspects ink-jet, laser, thermotransfer, and pre-printed ID codes on your beer can - allowing you check if codes are accurate, readable, and correct! The module is typically used for packaging identification to detect a mix-up, for Best Before Dates, and for registration of unique track & trace codes.
• Checks for misprints and ink drops • OCR, OCV and code presence detection
